Guitarist Vahe Sarkissian puts modern twist on Armenian/Mediterranean music incorporating elements of funk, rock, jazz, and fusion while covering classic songs from the Beatles, David Bowie, and Queen. His most recent album “Curcuna” can be heard on all major streaimng platforms. He has performed/worked with Earl Slick (John Lennon, David Bowie), Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Deep Purple, KISS), Gerald Veasley, Gina Schock (The Go-Go’s), Keiko Matsui, in addition to opening up for artists such as Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Shinedown, The Roots, Greg Howe, and Ritchie Kotzen (Poison). He performs with Countdown to Ecstasy (Steely Dan Tribute), A Night of Stardust (David Bowie Tribute), Forever TIna (Tina Turner Tribute), Laura Mann, and as a freelancer in various settings.

Roger Mgrdichian
Roger Mgrdichian is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Philadelphia PA, currently residing in Collingswood NJ. He is self-taught on the oud and is versed in the traditional music of his Anatolian ancestors. His diverse musical background includes classical and folk music of the middle east, belly dance accompaniment, flamenco, Sephardic, Indian and jazz, in addition to middle east rock fusion. Roger is an original member of the middle east/Indian fusion ensemble Jaffna for over 25 years. He also has a long history with Atzilut Concerts for Peace, a 10-member Arab/Jewish peace orchestra which has played concerts around the world and is a founding member of Barakka, an innovative Turkish folk-rock band popular in the Philadelphia area which has toured extensively though Turkey.

Parking in East Falls is no problem! There is ample free on-street parking near the East Falls train station driveway at 3610 Midvale Ave and a paid municipal lot three blocks away at 4100 Ridge Ave. Midvale Ave and Ridge Ave are both well-lit!
