Like a band of misfits heeding the clarion call of Philadelphia’s most revered musical ghosts, PJ Brown and Her Resistance assembled for the first time as a full-steam homage to Miss Sharon Jones, and took a left turn when the wheels fell off and the ship lifted high above Love Park , clipping the hat off that bird-dropping-covered statue of William Penn and straight into the sun.
PJ Brown and Her Resistance continues its mission to spread love and music – To celebrate lost souls, excited shapeshifters, perennial drifters, aspiring troublemakers. and unapologetic agents of change.
