We are a mixture of some of the hardest working musicians in the Philadelphia area including members or former members of Live at The Fillmore, Tom Hamilton’s American Babies, Dead on Live, Rainbow Full of Sound, Splintered Sunlight and more, specializing in a mashup concept, fusing the music of The Allman Brothers Band and The Grateful Dead. Each of us has multiple projects currently both original and not, but have formed a bond here with some of our favorite and most influential music, paying close attention to detail of all of the original music, while also adding our own improv to the mix making each show unique and exciting, and to create a very tangible symbiotic experience between the band and the listeners. There is nothing like coming back to pay homage to the music that inspired us all to play. We have played Brooklyn Bowl, Trocadero Theater, Ardmore Music Hall, Musikfest Cafe, Underground Arts, Abbey Bar at Appalachian Brewing Company, River Street Jazz Cafe, Stout’s Brewery, The 8×10, Gypsy Sally’s, The Acoustic, Mexicali Live, Havana New Hope, Tellus360, World Cafe Live Philadelphia and at The Queen in Wilmington, De, Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple (Denver, CO), Owsley’s Golden Road (Boulder, Co), Quixote’s True Blue (Denver, Co), In and Out of the Garden We Go Festival, WhoHill Festival, Bright Box Theater, The Abraham Lincoln Hotel, and have shared bills with, Pink Talking Fish, Butch Trucks Freight Train Band, The Ron Holloway Band, Holly Bowling, The Cris Jacobs Band, John Kadlecik Band, Dead Phish Orchestra, The Bruce Katz Band, Revelator Hill, Alan Paul’s Big In China with Ron Holloway as special guest, Splintered Sunlight, Good Lovin Jam Band, Andy Mowatt’s Steely Jam and more…

Since 2012, PURE JERRY has had one goal: bringing life and spirit to the music of Jerry Garcia. What began as the group mantra, became the band moniker. PURE JERRY continues it’s mission, playing classic Garcia songs, as well as Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers, The Band, Motown, and more! Fronted by veteran jam guitarist Michael Sanfosso, the band explores the vast songbook, showcasing versatile and fierce musicianship with renowned signature vocals, uncanny and haunting.
This family band consists of father and sons, cousins, brothers, longtime friends and crew with combined lifetimes of Grateful Dead experience and pedigree. PURE JERRY is the band to which you listen. PURE JERRY has been touring the East Coast for more than a dozen years, bringing tasty jams and inspirational takes on the best songs from the Garcia catalog and more! By Car or By Train
The East Falls Train Station is a short walk from the Fallser Club. Parking in East Falls is no problem! There is ample free on-street parking near the East Falls train station driveway at 3610 Midvale Ave and a paid municipal lot three blocks away at 4100 Ridge Ave. Midvale Ave and Ridge Ave are both well-lit!
