Sarah and the Safe Word

Sarah and the Safe Word is a cabaret rock band from Atlanta. Since their formation in 2015, the band has carved out a niche with their infectious energy, boundary-pushing creativity, and unapologetically queer ethos.

Sarah and the Safe Word is Sarah Rose (vocals), Kienan Dietrich (guitar, vocals), Beth Ballinger (keys, vocals) and Maddox Reksten (bass, vocals).

From the start, Sarah and the Safe Word have made waves, catching the attention of music lovers and industry leaders alike. In 2017, Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman personally invited them to join the legendary tour’s lineup, cementing their place as one of the most exciting new acts in alternative music. Their cameo on the CW’s The Originals — where they performed during a queer werewolf-witch wedding — showcased their theatrical flair to a wider audience. Their album Red Hot and Holy was praised by Alternative Press as “a contender for Debut of the Year.” Sarah and the Safe Word have since embarked on numerous national and international tours, leaving a trail of sated audiences in their wake.

In 2019, the band took their adventure to the next level by signing with Take This To Heart Records, who described them as “a band that exists in two worlds, each a century apart.” Their sound and aesthetic seamlessly bridge these worlds: one is the smoky, velvet-lined speakeasy of a bygone era, where tales of swashbucklers, femme fatales, and racing demons play out over lush cabaret-inspired instrumentation. The other is the raw, sweat-drenched underground of modern punk shows, where a collectivist spirit reigns supreme, and every show is a celebration of liberation, self-expression, and community without borders.

Sarah and the Safe Word’s live performances are as much a spectacle as a concert, weaving bold narratives and theatrical flourishes into their punk-meets-cabaret sound. The band’s message is one of radical inclusion, embracing their fans as a family of outsiders, dreamers, and storytellers. In a world where authenticity is currency, Sarah and the Safe Word aspire to be rich beyond measure, offering a space where everyone can feel seen, heard, and celebrated.

Everybody’s Worried About Owen

Everybody’s Worried About Owen is a solo project by Owen Trawick. Inspired by DIY Ethics, Folk Punk and 5th Wave Emo music, the project’s first EP “There Are Leeches In Denton Lake” is a stripped down acoustic record with its singles “Mawce” and “The Soccer Journals” accruing over 7,000,000 streams on Spotify. “Gut Punch/Don’t Meet Your Idols” builds upon the folk punk influences of the last release and is a sign of more things to come.

Starting as a quarantine resolution in Rockland County, NY to stop hiding and put music out into the world, Everybody’s Worried About Owen now has over 130,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and is available on all streaming services. Having moved to Miami, Owen is excited to continue making music inspired by his favorite bands and hopes to do them justice.

Ratwyfe

21 year-old indie pop/folk/whatever artist based in philadelphia, pennsylvania. Growing up as a bit of an outsider in guam, music was always a huge focus to me. I hummed myself to sleep at 6 months old, started singing as soon as i could talk, learned piano at 8, started writing songs at 10, and eventually picked up ukulele, guitar, and bass in middle and high school. Music became a way for me to connect with people and express the feelings that i could never properly express through words alone.
