The 2023 Apollo Theatre “Child Star of Tomorrow,” Nathanael is 17 years old and has been singing and composing music since he was four. At 7 years old, he began to play the violin.
Nathanael studies vocal music at the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz where, in May of 2022, he had the privilege of opening for the internationally acclaimed, grammy-nominated Sun Ra Arkestra. He was invited to sing for renowned jazz bass guitarist, Gerald Veasley and had the honor of performing with industry heartbeat Lil John Roberts. Nathanael is also a student at the Germantown Settlement School of Music where he studies opera and piano.
Nathanael was the first place winner for his performance at The Philadelphia City Winery for Mister Mann Frisby’s Youth Showcase. He has also performed
at the popular SOUTH Jazz Kitchen. Serious about honing his craft, in 2023, Nathanael earned a certificate for coursework which he completed at the
prestigious Berklee College of Music. He is an alumnus of Berklee’s highly competitive B4 and 5-week programs. In 2023 Nathanael performed and won
first-place after 3 rounds at the iconic Apollo Theatre in New York. Nathanael returned to Amateur Night at the Apollo‘s Grand Finale on November 22, 2023
and emerged as the Apollo‘s 2023 Child Star of Tomorrow! One week later, he was invited to perform at The Annual Apollo Holiday Show.
Since taking gold at The Apollo, Nathanael has been featured on CBS3, and on multiple times Fox 29 shows. He soloed in the Kimmel Center Cultural and
Performing Arts Center’s Verizon Hall for the 20th anniversary of Dr. Donald Dumpson’s Soulful Christmas and for Kimmel’s renaming of Verizon Hall to
Marion Anderson Hall in 2024. Nathanael also performed at the historic 100th Inauguration of Philadelphia’s first female mayor, Cherelle
Parker.
Nathanael’s mission in life is to improve, accomplish, and succeed in the arts and business with professionalism and grace while helping others, supporting
those he loves, and keeping his composure no matter what challenges he may face.
In October 2024, Nathanael was admitted to Berklee College of Music. He was recently selected from 11,000 applicants as a 2024
Young Arts Scholar with Distinction.

The East Falls Train Station is a short walk from the Fallser Club. Parking in East Falls is no problem! There is ample free on-street parking near the East Falls train station driveway at 3610 Midvale Ave and a paid municipal lot three blocks away at 4100 Ridge Ave. Midvale Ave and Ridge Ave are both well-lit!
