Tickets: $20 adults, $10 students
Join Shawn Hennessey and Leana Song for a special evening of traditional West African drumming and music in Philadelphia, featuring the renowned Ghanaian master drummer Emmanuel Agbeli!
Emmanuel Agbeli, a highly respected Ewe drumming teacher and master musician, brings his deep-rooted knowledge and vibrant rhythms to this exclusive event. With decades of experience teaching and performing globally, Emmanuel’s workshops and performances are both inspiring and transformative.
He will be leading Leana Song as they play the dance drumming of the Ewe people of Ghana.
This event is also a fundraiser for the Ghana Kopeiya School Fund, a non-profit organization led by Emmanuel Agbeli that brings education to children in Ghana. All proceeds from the evening will support the school and directly benefit his community. Come enjoy the music while making a meaningful difference!
Whether you’re a seasoned musician or simply love rhythm, this is a rare opportunity to witness traditional Ewe music from Ghana up close – all for a great cause!
