Jefferson Berry & the UAC. Jefferson Berry combines storytelling in the Urban Folk tradition with the intricacies of JamBand and Roots instrumentation. These songs are performed by a cadre of unique players: The Urban Acoustic Coalition, a band anchored by the virtuosity of Bud Burroughs and Dave Brown. While acoustic by nature, never missing is the locked-in bass/drums drive of Uncle Mike and Adam Stranburg. Complementing all this with a variety of guitar styles, Berry’s projects bring a danceable style and contemporary point of view to a unique wing of Philadelphia’s local music scene.
CubiZm
CubiZm is Heidi Wolfson, Art Cohen (guitar), Steve Lessick (drums/harmony), and Neal Phillips (acoustic guitar, bass). CubiZm’s compelling original folk/rock music spans a wide range from shimmering atmospheres to driving grooves to melodic harmonies to abstract spoken word pieces. Heidi Wolfson’s thought-provoking and literate songs are delivered with a singular intensity. Acoustic and electric guitars, drums, and vocal harmonies blend together to showcase the freshness and originality of the writing. CubiZm has performed at The Philadelphia Folk Festival, sold out The Living Room in Ardmore, and played at venues throughout the Philadelphia region. By Car or By Train
The East Falls Train Station is a short walk from the Fallser Club. Parking in East Falls is no problem! There is ample free on-street parking near the East Falls train station driveway at 3610 Midvale Ave and a paid municipal lot three blocks away at 4100 Ridge Ave. Midvale Ave and Ridge Ave are both well-lit!
