Ej Simpson will bring back to the Fallser club in East Falls, Philadelphia, a fabulous band and his inspired songwriting (as heard on WXPN – Haré Haré has gotten many spins and love ) and, of course, his unique bass guitar – the very namesake of this project- “Purple Virgin.”
Next month’s band will include many returning players from You Purple Virgin‘s triumphant record release party last year at Fallser, including Greg Davis, Adam Flicker, and the radiant harmonies of R.A.D. and Tuna Dan. Joined by Eric Gershenow on guitar and the legendary, award-winning drumming of Andy Kravitz and other guests, this show will dazzle !!
The band will be performing songs from the vinyl {Fabulous Fantasy } as well as performing new songs (some co-produced with Andy Kravitz) and a selection of other surprises
