Big Benny Bailey
Big Benny Bailey is Ben Pierce and Shamir Bailey. They met in a vegan diner in 2016, though neither is vegan. Formed and based in South Philadelphia, they joined forces after a shared feeling of ennui around modern music. Both Benny and Bailey collectively served time in bands that relied on drum kits and guitar amps, and the two were desperate to simplify. Big Benny Bailey became a vehicle for the duo to unplug, unwind, and connect to music at its purest form. Together, the two crafted an organic sound with traces of bluegrass, folk, and country.

Reese Florence

A soft and sultry voice, settled in alto, accompanies her beautifully unique style of guitar picking, occasionally joined by cello and pedal steel guitar.

The Hill Country Devil is down
Hayden Karchmer, known by his moniker The Hill Country Devil, is a Texas-raised songwriter whose music embodies raw honesty and unflinching reality. With a life marked by both intense highs and gut-wrenching lows—including a period of homelessness—Karchmer channels his experiences into songs that resonate with desperation and profound emotion. His work is a reflection of a nomadic existence, having lived in places as diverse as Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Colorado, and New York. Each song captures a piece of his journey, blending compelling storytelling with a soulful voice and a deft touch on the guitar. Karchmer’s music doesn’t just tell stories; it compels listeners to feel every nuance of his experiences, making him a truly remarkable artist in the world of songwriting.
