On October 18th, East Falls at Midvale and Ridge will be filled with family fun including a beer garden from Wissahickon Brewing, food trucks, tacos from Cresta, sweets and more from Le Bus, and cookies galore from Famous Fourth Street. The Fallser Club will provide live music on an outside stage from 11am to 5pm.

Jeff Alexander
Jeff Alexander is our MC for the East Falls Fest and a seasoned and dynamic musician. His specialties in guitar and vocals showcase Jeff’s personal influences from artists like Jimi Hendrix, Tommy Emmanuel, Ritchie Kotzen, and Al Dimeola, with his unique flare. He delivers recognizable songs that are proven ‘crowd-pleasers’, and incorporates climactic originals.
Jeff has organized, played in and collaborated with multiple Philly-based bands, cataloging original and cover songs. He has been featured on film, wedding bands, played in local festivals such as Roxyunk Porchfest and currently hosts the monthly open mic at The Fallser Club. Currently, Jeff resides in East Falls and focuses on his solo acoustic performances that punctuate his ability to make one man feel like an entire band. Rawk U School of Music
Rawk U School of music was founded by Daniel Cullenas a way to give back and share his passion for music and music education. Rawk U offers lessons for Guitar, Piano, Drums, Bass, and Voice. They also have a thriving Rock band class program that is available to both kids and adults. The joy of music is truly a gift. Our instructors will assist people of all ages with whatever goals you may have and get you one step closer to being a well-rounded musician.

Gina Kaz
Gina is a singer/songwriter pop indie artist from Philadelphia. She writes soundtrack-to- your-life- type pop songs.
She has had two songs aired on ABC and ABC Family. She has just released a brand new album, “Walk Through,” and single, “Pretty,” produced in the UK by Patch Boswell, and “This Kiss,” produced by Charles Plassard, also in the UK.
Gina is a mom of three, a Music Therapist working with the Dying, a Children’s Performing Artist ( she Won a Gold Parents’ Choice Award for her albums, and Best Children’s Album from the Independent Music Awards), and has written 2 singable books.
It’s all a part of being Gina, her three children, her “music with gina” community, the dying, writing, creating music, collaborating, building community…….GINA KAZ embodies all of it. Her mission is to use music to serve others and to give permission to be your fullest expression.

We’re an indie band with a hard rock twist based in Philly. We started with cheap amps and cheap drums but developed a sound that is unforgettable. River Bones
River Bones Band is an Americana group with rock n’ roll sensibility that mixes a blend of bluegrass, western swing, rock, classic country, and gypsy jazz. Their sound is hard to put your finger on but undeniably infectious. They are known for their high energy, frenetic sets, tight and compelling vocal harmonies, inspired songwriting, and their ability to turn any room into a dance hall. Since their start in 2016, River Bones Band has performed throughout the East Coast,on bluegrass festival stages both big and small. Their tight vocal harmonies mixed with innovative musicianship make them one of the most exciting Philadelphia-based musical acts around!

Cadre Noir is a Philadelphia band that merges nostalgic 70s psychedelia, East Coast hip hop grit, early 90s indie, cohesive elusiveness, and easy listening draped in esoteric themes.

Fresh off the 2023 Tiny Desk Contest On The Road Show and featured on WXPN’s Key Studio Sessions, Kikashima is the band and moniker of Mexican-Japanese-Californian singer/songwriter, Carissa Matsushima. Now based in Philadelphia, Kikashima is made up of equal parts legacy and rebellion. They are a sensuous power trio that boasts heart-breaking melodies, down-to-earth lyrics and grooves that move both body and soul thanks to Parker St. Charles on bass and Max Azarmehr on drums. Dropping hints of funk, soul, and folk, their music is as multi-faceted and unique as Kikashima herself, whose gorgeous vocals range from whisper to wail, all in the name of beauty, grief, and the courage to feel everything.
Roberta Faceplant
Roberta Faceplant is a honky tonk hurricane from Philadelphia. The 5-piece Outlaw Americana band has been called “a cowpunk miracle” and been compared to “Southern Culture on the Skids fronted by Laura Bell Bundy.” It’s Country, but you can hear the city.
Vocalist and singer/songwriter Katie Feeney leads the band with a voice that blends the raw, rock n’ roll grit of Janis Joplin with the whimsical, western smoothness of Patsy Cline. Staffed by a gang of mischievous musical veterans, Roberta Faceplant’s live show is high-energy roadhouse joy infused with a rebellious spirit that’ll keep you on the dance floor all night.
The band’s sound has captivated audiences in the Northeast Corridor with elements of southern rock, old school country, rockabilly, and the blues blending perfectly into a melting pot of killer melodies, memorable riffs, and playful storytelling.
Roberta Faceplant has already garnered international press and radio play on KEXP, WXPN, KLKT, KOOP, Nola County Radio, Post To Wire, Lonesome Highway and more. The band just released their debut EP, Yee Haw Stuff, on July 26, 2024 and is working on a follow up slated for 2025
